Vision: Our vision for our children here at Little Ranchers Learning Center is for them to all grow socially, spiritually and physically in a loving environment that encourages them to love one another and Jesus.

Mission: The mission of our school is to provide a warm, nurturing environment that encourages children to achieve their fullest potential. Our desire is that every child realizes that we love him/her and that Jesus loves him/her more. We are also committed to give every child the fundamental and educational building blocks upon which he/she can build a successful future.

Accreditations: Little Ranchers is a Religious Exempt Preschool Licensed by FCCPSA. We follow all DCF guidelines to run a healthy and safe learning environment for our students.

Who we are: Little Ranchers is a ministry of Lakewood Ranch Baptist Church. We provide a Christian environment for children 2 years of age through VPK.
**Depending on proper staffing we offer a class for toddlers who are 18 mos. by August as well as Kindergarten. This is not a guarantee each year.

•  Our program is Monday - Friday 9:00am - 12:00pm
•  Two and Three's classes have the choice of 2 days (T&TH), 3 days is MWF or all 5 days.
•  VPK is M-F
•  We offer aftercare from 12-1 for $15 per day and 12-2 for $25 per day. **This is not a napping time. If your child still naps they will not be able to stay until 2.
•  We follow the Manatee County School District calendar (with a few exceptions).

We are dedicated to the spiritual, physical,  social and emotional development of all children entrusted in our daily care. We recognize that each child is a unique gift from God and we pledge to always show God’s Love by our kind words and example.

Registration

The 2026-2027 waitlist will be posted on December 19 at 2pm.

Our classes are set up by birthdates. Look for your child's age group according to how old they will be by Sept. 1. This is the age cut off for each age group.

PLEASE NOTE*** If you fill out a form for the wrong age group, you will miss your chance to get into the appropriate class.

We open registration to our current families in January. If we can offer you a spot, we'll contact you by mid-February. In order to expedite registration, we'll have two information meetings for each age group. We'll give a group tour of the school and answer any questions you may have. You will get these dates in the email.

If you do not hear from us by March, chances are we could not offer you a spot.
