MOMCO

Purpose

MomCo is a group of moms committed to creating a better community for us and our children. MomCo exists to encourage and equip mothers by bringing in speakers on a wide range of topics ranging from health and fitness to marriage and parenting. It’s a great chance to connect with other women in our area.

Fellowship 

MomCo meets on campus on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, September through May from 9:30 – 11:30 am. We are excited to offer childcare to registered children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years old.

Childcare

We only offer childcare for children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years old. Childcare is available for children ages 6 months through 5 years old (as of September 1, 2026). Nursing babies are able to stay with moms during Meetups, however children who are 12 months of age and mobile are required to be registered for childcare in order to attend Meetups. If your child will turn 12 months during the MomCo year, we strongly encourage you to register for childcare at the time of registration. Please note that childcare spots are limited and fill quickly, and we may not be able to accommodate mid-year additions if spaces are full, which could result in a waitlist.

Registration for this fall is opening soon.

The cost for Mom Membership is $115.
The cost for MomCo Kids Membership is $150. Childcare spots are limited.
All payments secure membership for the upcoming year and are non-refundable.

Scholarships

We offer needs based partial and full scholarships for both moms and/or children. Consideration is determined on a first-come, first-serve basis as funds allow and childcare spots are available. Please contact momco@lwrbaptist.com for more information, and you will be contacted. Applying for a scholarship does not guarantee that one can be given

To donate to the MomCo scholarship fund, please make a check out to Lakewood Ranch Baptist Church and write "MomCo Scholarship" in the designation line. Checks can be mailed to Lakewood Ranch Baptist Church, 5600 Deer Drive, Sarasota FL 34240, or you may place a check in one of the offering boxes at the back of the worship center.
