Matthew 25:31-46 | The Final Judgement Pt. 1

What role will our works play at the final judgment? In Matthew 25:31–46, Jesus pictures humanity being separated like sheep and goats, with each person’s life providing evidence of whether genuine faith has transformed them. Good works do not earn salvation, but they are the necessary fruit of a life changed by Christ. This sermon also presents the final judgment as one event with two outcomes, calling everyone to live in readiness. For believers, judgment is not only a sobering reality but a source of hope: Christ will recognize faithfulness, entrust His people with meaningful responsibility, and invite them to share in His joy. Following Jesus is worth it.
