1 Timothy 2:11-15 | Biblical Femininity
What does biblical femininity look like? Rather than allowing culture, tradition, or modern stereotypes to define womanhood, this message turns to Scripture—especially Genesis and Proverbs 31—to explore God’s design for women. Five characteristics emerge: helping, nurturing, prioritizing the home, beautifying, and encouraging. These qualities are not limitations but valuable strengths through which women serve their families, churches, and communities while reflecting aspects of God’s character. Whether married or single, every woman has meaningful opportunities to use these God-given capacities for the good of others and the advancement of His kingdom. Scripture ultimately presents femininity as something beautiful and worthy of celebration: “a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”
